Metadata Catalog & Data Profiles
The Metadata Catalog & Data Profiles serve as a centralized document providing information about a data source. Within each profile, you will find information on how the data are collected, use cases, limitations associated with the data, whether or not certain demographic data are included, links to publicly available reports and dashboards, and more. These profiles can help you understand more about the data available at ADHS and guide you in identifying data that might inform your public health practice, research, policy development, etc.
- The data source profiles provided are intended solely for informational purposes and may be subject to change. They only contain descriptions of the data, not the data itself. All data managed by ADHS are subject to rigorous protection under numerous state and federal laws.
- Please be advised that these profiles do not grant or imply any right to access or receive data upon request. Access to ADHS data not otherwise publicly available involves a thorough approval process to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and departmental policies and procedures.
- Requests for data may be submitted through the Data Requests to ADHS webpage and will be reviewed by the appropriate data stewards. In certain cases, requesters may be required to provide additional information about their request, obtain a data sharing agreement with ADHS, and/or seek approval from the ADHS Human Subjects Review Board (HSRB). Links to publicly available data such as, data sets, reports, and dashboards, can be found on the Data Requests to ADHS webpage, as well as within each individual data source profile.
